river这个我不咋会,我可以give a shot..
Well,there are many rivers in my hometown Beijing.In fact i only went nearby a river on some special occasions,consequently i do not know much about rivers,but i do know a famous river called ChaoBai River.（潮白河.）when it comes to a river in my home town,what worth mentioning is the river——chaobai river.（这个开头其实并不长.开头多说一些有很多好处的.）
The river originates from Hebei province and flows across Tianjin and northern part of Beijing into MiYun resevoir,which is considered one of the most longest river in our country.Compared with other rivers in beijing,it plays the most vital role to balance the ecosystem.It is pretty deep,and sometimes as peaceful as a mirrior,flowing gently,but sometimes rather torrential.The water was as clear as crystal in my early memories,and the surroundings was quite nice,air was frensh,dwellers would take a stroll after meals,young couple often rambled under the setting sun,kids running ,birds singing and flying here and there,i love the power of nature and the friendly atmosphere that people create.I once went there to join a picnic when i was a junior student,my classmates and i got totally intoxicated.Sadly ,it is reported that the water quality has gones worse in recent years due to human activities and industrial development.It is a shame that our beloved river is losing its uniqe beauty and tranquility.By no means should people go fishing and swimming there,or even litter around regardless of the law and responsibility for the environment.I truely believe that the water quality of Chaobai River will become better if taken good care of.It is high time we have a sense of awakening and be a reponsible individual,as well as treasure everything nature dedicates to humanity.
