《贫民窟的百万富翁》的得与失
　　《贫民窟的百万富翁》很容易就抓住观众的心,靠“开心辞典”似的样式去揭露印度的生活,确实新颖不少.当然,答题只是外套,所有的题目其实就是根据故事情节来编造,就像先射击后画靶心一样,套用电影里的一句话：一切都是命中注定.只不过主宰者不是主持人,而是导演.
　　我听闻印度贫富差距明显、宗教矛盾冲突,也对其脏、乱、差略有了解,只是电影里毫无掩饰的展示出来时还是颇为震惊.我不知道其中描述是否是印度生活的真实情况,导演作为外国人,究竟是对印度文化不了解还是因为没有顾虑而缺少限制,最终呈现的人生百态,使我们看到生活在底层的人们,遭受地位的下贱、生活的困窘和生命的威胁,人生的拼搏方向也就有了不同,最终导致命运殊途.这样的题材其实已经不新鲜,但电影又有多少新鲜的题材可以挖掘?换一种方式、换一个背景描述,依然具有巨大的震撼力.
　　然而我们不得不承认,电影里所呈现的一些恶劣现象即使是在中国也并不鲜见：警察审判随意殴打、流氓横行无忌、歧视打工仔和穷人……所以我们没有理由也没有资格去鄙视一个超级大国的内部矛盾,只是我们或许是并不严重,或许是控制得好,仅此而已.从这部电影里让我们看到了一个发展中国家在发展中的重重矛盾,对我们自己也是有启发意义的吧!
　　电影的一大亮点是演员找得准,特别是三个主角,从小时到成年各是三个人扮演,却给人感觉不出有何脱节.三个人长得很像,同时演技也能出色发挥,能够让人沉浸在剧中不致突然间的不适应,过度自然可见导演功力深厚.
