鼓励学生当志工的好处是,它启动了我们善良的本能.
在学校参与过服务队,接触过弱势团体的人,
出社会后比较会继续做,因为了解才会有关怀.
但是如果在学校不曾接触,出了社会以后,
会被社会上人吃人的竞争所冲击,柔软的心就会变硬,
就不大会去做了.
我们应该趁孩子天真、有热情、不世故时,
让他们接触不同的人,
体验不同的生活,感受不同的挫折
没有接触,就不会有感动.
就像有个志工学生说：「在学校的时候,
爱滋病离我很遥远,很少会去想到它,
但是当一个妈妈抱着垂死的爱滋婴儿

两性教育,因为只有接触,才会产生尊敬与宽容.
