A happy day---Merry Christmas
November 25th is the western traditional day——Christmas Day.It is one of the most important festivals in the western countries just like the spring festival in China.Nowadays,not only the western people but also the Chinese people will celebrate together on Christmas Day .
I had a good time on Christmas Day this year.Though we had classes,we also felt happy.Before the class,the monitor told us to sing a Christmas song to the teachers Gail and Pearl.Gail was our foreign teacher and Pearl was our English teacher who taught intensive reading.And we give them each a Christmas gift too.Our teacher felt very happy when they received our present which was not very expensive.Moreover,in the oral class,we held a Christmas party with Gail and Gail cook some rice for us to eat.Then we danced ,sang and played games with Gail as well.
In the evening,thanks to our Chinese teacher who didn’t require us have class in the Christmas Day,we had time to hold a party in our dormitory by ourselve.After having supper,my roommates and I went to Dong Ruan’s market to buy some snacks and something to drink.As soon as we came back to the dornitory,we decorate our room with the colourful decoration together.Then we gathered to eat and chat with each other.We also sang and danced crazily.
What a happy Christmas Day it was!I would never forget this wonderful Christmas Day.

Every Christmas is the same and every Christmas is different
we all have Christmas ,a happy Christmas.but as the great man said :there are no the same leaves in the world .no Christmas is same.
I can say in the Christmas ,the important thing is prayer .pray for happiness. pray for money .pray for health.but to us youth ,pray for love
I enjoy parental love .even if they do not tell me they love and care me personlly ,i also easily find love in their eyes ,in their gentle and soft action
I enjoy friends' love .my heart will be full of joy as soon as i receive a Chrismas card or a benediction.maybe a friendly smile can make me pleased .maybe an ordinary song can cause me cry with happiness
I enjoy sweetheart's love .walking at the bank of a river ,sitting in the sunset ,running in the snow ,or singing in the moon ,all of these are so romantic .even onlt staying with him with few words ,i can feel the moon is aromatic and the tweedle loud and clear
Christmas means we will get into a newly year full of hope and exciting so we should stay alone for some time ,thinking about the last year .it is necessary and important
in this golden day ,don'y forget to send your love to your parents ,friends ,sweetheart and even strangers .when we show our love ,we ,au receive others' love .remember:years pass by like water and only love stay in heart forever

Christmas Day
Christmas Day falls on the twenty-fifth of December. It is a very happy day for many boys and girls . Before the term ends in some schools , the children act a nativity① or “birth” play, showing how Jesus② was born in a stable③.
On the twenty-fourth of December, all children are very excited. Usually they are sent to bed early so that their parents can get the presents ready. The younger children think that Father Christmas will come down the chimney or fireplace , so they hang up a sock for him to put presents in. The greedy ones even hang up a pillow-case④ or a sack⑤ to try to get more presents. Later that night, Father or Mother will put presents in the sock, and leave others at the side of the bed.
On Christmas morning, the children wake up very early. Some even turn on the light at two o'clock, and most of them are awake by six o'clock although it is not light in England for another hour or two at this time of the year.Children look for their presents , and the young ones play while the dinner is prepared. At about one o'clock in the afternoon, the Christmas dinner is brought in . The turkey or chicken is quickly eaten . Children search in their Christmas pudding for new coins which are hidden in it . The rest of the day is full of games and eating until the happiest of all Christmas hollidays comes to an end.

Christmas Is Coming
I like Christmas, it is just like our Spring Festival.
Maybe the Spring Festival is much more important and interesting than Christmas, but I like Christmas Day better. Because we can spend time with our friends and classmates during Christmas. When it is snowy, Christmas becomes much more lovely, just like in fairytales. I can imagine I am in a fairytale, the girl who sold the matches is my friend, the ugly duck becoming more and more beautiful and so on. What a beautiful place! So we can also call Christmas “Snowy Lovely Day.”
On Christmas Day, shops are red and green. There are so many Christmas cards, Christmas hats, Christmas dolls and many colourful things. So shops look very beautiful. We can give a card or a doll to our friends and say “Merry Christmas.” By the way, I think studying can also become much more interesting.
Christmas is coming, it also means a new year will come. Let’s study harder to welcome the new year!
Merry Christmas
It was one of the last days before Christmas, and the as sistants in the large store had their hands full serving eager Christmas shoppers.
At one counter an old lady was choosing gloves red ones for her daugher in law, light blue ones for her niece, pink ones for her grand daughter, green ones for her sister and by the time she had found what she wanted, the counter was covered with pairs of all colors and sizes.
When the salesgirl had finally written out the bill and was about to turn to the next customer with a tired voice. "Thank you very much, madam," the old lady suddenly cried out, "Oh, I almost forgot..."——"Anything else, madam?" said the girl, "Yes," began the old lady, "I'd like to buy another pair, but I' m not quite sure about what exactly I should cloose. I wonder if you could help me." "Certainly, madam", was the girl's reply. The old lady then went on to explain that what she was looking for was a pair of gloves for a girl of her age. She was not at ail sure what color to choose, and the design was a problem too.
The tired girl did her best to help the old lady make up her mind, showing her ail kinds of gloves.
At last the chosen pair of gloves were wrapped up and paid for as well, and as the girl was about to turn to the next customer, the old lady handed her a little parcel and said, "These now, dear, these are for you and thank you for being so patient. I do hope you have a merry Christmas !"
