披头士是一个伟大的乐队.甚至我认为说他们是至今最伟大的流行音乐乐队也不为过.他们引领了一个时代,不仅仅是在音乐上,也在穿着、发型、甚至是人们对待生活的观念上影响着一代人.所以这门课程的开设的确有它存在的意义.但我想说的是,虽然他们如此伟大,如此深入人心,但他们也仅仅是一个乐队,他们也仅仅代表了一种风格,一种生活态度,也许在当时受到了很多人的支持和欢迎,但并不表示他们的音乐和态度被所有的人接受.那这门课程是否有些过于局限了呢?再言之,披头士的影响在如今已经没有如此的巨大,至少我对他们知之甚少,我也了解现在的人们大都也对他们了解不多.那研究他们的意义是否又不是那么大了呢?最后我想表明我的观点,那就是如果能把对于披头士的研究更延伸到流行音乐对于社会的影响,也许会是一个更好的课程.

The Beatles is a great band.It will never be too much even if I say that they are the greatest band of the pop music.They have ever been the leading of the times.They have affected one generation not only in music as well as in the dressing,hairstyle,even in the attitude toward the life of people.Therefore,it makes sense to offer this course.However,what I want to say is that they are great and deep inside of people though,they are merely a band.They can only represent a kind of style and a kind of attitude toward life.They may be popular with so many people and received much support from them,but it does not mean that their music and attitude are accepted by everyone.Does this course appear to be kind of limited?In other word,the beatles exert not so much influence on current times as before,at the very least,I do not know much about them,so do people nowadays.Then can we understand in this way that it will not make much sense for us to study them?Finally,I would like to express my viewpoints.If we can extend the stduy of the influence exerted by the Beatles to another level,which is pop music's influence on the society,it would be a better course.

They lead an era, not just in music, but also clothes, hairstyles, and even the concept of people living on the treatment affects the generation. Therefore, the creation of this course does have its existence.
