Holiday plans(寒假计划)
Summer holiday is coming, and we are going to have a long vacation more than one month. That is great news to me, and then I can enjoy myself on holiday again.
The first thing I want to do is to get a part-time job in winter holiday, so that I can practice myself and get more social experiences. I have asked my uncle to introduce a job as a salesman in a grocery, because he is the boss of the grocery.
The second thing I want to do is to enjoy more English learning. I have made plan that I will read ten English novels during the holiday, so that I can know more about English literature. And I have planed to recite 30 English words each day, and I will have known 1000 English words when the holiday ends.
The third thing I want to do is to study some basic computer technologies during the winter holiday. In my opinion, computer plays a very important role in modern times. If you knew nothing about computer, you will be illiteracy nowadays.
The last thing I want to do is to enjoy myself as much as possible during the winter holiday, so than I can have a wonderful winter holiday.
The preparations of Spring Festival (春节前的准备)
The Spring Festival is Chinese traditional festival. Most of families will get together to enjoy the Spring Festival. Before we are going to have a wonderful Spring Festival, we always do some preparations.
First, we will buy many New Year’s goods to spend the new year, such as pork, beef, chicken, duck, fish, apples, oranges, banana etc. it always cost much money to buy the New Year’s goods.
Second, we will clean our house and other things to make them newer. Such as clean the windows, the bedroom, the living room, the floor, the kitchen, the bathroom etc.
Third, we will call our family members to come back home as soon as possible so that we can get together in New Year, and enjoy the New Year’s Eve dinner. The family members always come back before the New Year’s Eve.
The last thing to do is buy some new clothes, new shoes, cut down your hair. After finishing all these preparation, we are going to have a new year.
My happy Spring Festival (我的快乐新年)
After the New Year’s Eve dinner with my family, we began to sit down in front of the TV, and enjoyed 2008 CCTV Spring Festival gala.
At about ten o’clock, the black sky was lightened by lots of fireworks with colorful light and happy sound. We stop watching the CCTV 2008 CCTV Spring Festival gala, and began to climb up the balcony to see the beautiful fireworks view, and my father took some fireworks up, and we also began to play fireworks. What a beautiful night.
Later, my cell phone was ringing all the time. I received lots of short messages from my friends and classmates. They all blessed me happy New Year. I gave same bless to them by sending back the happy words. At almost 12 pm, I made a wish in New Year, and began to sleep.
When I woke up in the first day of New Year, my father and mother gave two red packets to me, and blessed me that everything will go well on me. I thanked them, and accepted the red packets happily. I have been waiting for the day that I can get lots of red packets. This is my happiest time of the year.
After lunch, both my family went to the park, the streets, and the shops or supermarkets. We took many photos in the park, and bought many things in the shops or supermarket. I met my uncles and aunts, they all blessed us happy New Year and gave me red packets. I was too happy to count how many red packets I got.
The following days, we visited my grandparents and some of relatives. We happily talk with them, and brought some presents to them, and also received some New Year presents.
This was how did I spend my Spring Festival, I really enjoyed myself in Spring Festival.
The funniest things in holiday(假期最有意思的事)
As I have planed, I got a part-time job in my uncle’s shop. I had to get up very early, because I had to start to work at about 8:00 am in the morning.
There were many consumers visiting the grocery at about 10:00 a.m., including, boys and girls, young and old. Some of them bought food, and some of them bought toys, and some of them bought beers and drinks. Some of people were surprised to see me worked at this grocery, because they had never seen me. Some of kids just called “big brother”. I was responsible for collecting the money that the consumers paid. It was not an easy job, because you had to calculate how much the consumers had to pay. Thanked for my excellent math calculation, I could tell them how much they had to pay soon. But if they bought lots of things, I had to use the calculator. It always made mistakes, for I didn’t use it very fluently.
There was no rest in the mid noon; I had to keep on working after my lunch. It was a little tire after I finished my work. But I was happy, because I had help my uncle sell many things.
I worked in this grocery for about 20 days, and my uncle paid me for 600 Yuan, that was a lot of money to me. I had learn some selling skills, such as how to talk with the consumers, how to calculate faster, how to keep smile to consumer, and they were very useful social skills.
I liked my part-time job in holiday.
