With the improvement of micro-blog services and the influence of some “star bloggers”,most of whom are celebrities,micro-blog is becoming an important way for people to express themselves and communicate with others.Now,more and more people start to use micro-blog services.However,micro-blog might give rise to some problems as well.Some bloggers would express their thoughts and ideas by writing them down in the micro-blogs rather than communicate with their friends or family members.Day by day,blogs tend to draw people away from real life.What’s worse,lack of face-to-face communication with others might isolate bloggers from the society,which would do harm to their mental health.
In my view,micro-blog is a good platform for people to show their personal experiences and communicate with others.However,micro-bloggers should adjust the item and avoid spending the whole day on blogging.After all,sitting in front of the cold screen of computer for long does no good to their health,physically and mentally.

During the old days when teens spent hours alone in their rooms or with close friends dancing in front of the mirror, playing outside their houses, trying different outfits and modeling around the corner; trying on different personas in person is out, the web deletes the middle man. Now, there are a variety of online social media applications to enable communication between adolescents. Due to the ego-centric nature of these applications, social networking sites allow adolescents to extend their true personalities to the online world while also adding onto them. The impersonal nature of communicating from behind a computer screen can allow adolescents to create a completely new and unrestrained personality that they would never show in real life. Personal web pages give teens the control to present themselves in whatever way they choose to an actual audience that’s also controllable and far less intimidating than showing up in person to try out a new possible identity
The Internet has quickly become the most expeditious, central means of communication and access to information so it makes perfect sense that this trend in media would trickle down to impact the lives of youth everywhere. There are numerous reasons why the internet has become the chosen means by which adolescents discover their identity. Adolescents find that the internet and social personal web pages offer them a safe place to try on different ‘hats’ or try out new personalities without the fear of rejection or embarrassment and the normal risks associated with real life trials of the same magnitude (Schmitt et al., 2008). The internet, especially sites like Facebook offer prominent places for youth to put themselves out there in a textural/multimedia forum for others to see.

The modern life is becoming more and more colorful. The Internet is an important part of our life. It makes our life more interesting. Do you know about the most popular Internet tool? It named micro blog . It means a small blog. The differences betwwn them are the micro blog is simpler and more convenient than a common blog. The first micro blog website is Twitter. And it’s also the most famous in the world. Now many famous persons in different professions have micro blogs such as Han Han, Liu Xiang, Lady Gady, Bill Gates and so on.
Chinese micro blog has about five years of history. Though it’s very short,the micro blogs in China are popular with young people, especially we students. We students believe that micro blog is very useful, we can do many things by using it. For example, we can get news and information quickly. And we can write our feelings, our sense of life and some small things everyday on it, just like keeping a simple diary in 140 worlds or fewer. We can enjoy or upload photos, videos and music easily. What’s more, we can find or create a hot topic, and then talk about the topic with others online. How interesting!
Lots of my classmates and teachers have micro blogs. I also like using micro blog very much. I often upload my pictures and get some advice from others who can draw well. And it’s also a great way to learn English by using micro blogs. We can try to write three beautiful English sentences and then ask someone to modife them and teach us online.
All in all,there are many advantages of using micro blogs, this can only give a brief introduction. But remember not to spend too much time on the Internet. Let’s surf the web healthily and grow up happily!
