After dinner, they will chat and enjoy the TV programs,. On this night, many people choose to stay up until the bell tolls twelve, exchanging New Year greetings among family members and friends. Besides, new year calls are a custom dated back to the Ming Dynasty. People today still pay visits to their relatives, friends, schoolmates, and colleagues during the Spring Festival to extend their greetings.
