metallographic phase samples were made by inserting,rubbing,polishing and corroding the samples with different amount of ceramic content added.Observe the tissue of the metallographic phase samples under the Scanning electron microscope,the results shown as Figure 4.From Figure(a) and (b),we got to know that the tissue basal body in dark gray,but with greyish-white particles mainly in the shape of cube or hexagon distributed around it,and aggregation phenomenon found in some areas.Around the greyish-white particles,black-like particles were found and,most white particles were inserted to the black ones.(See Arrow pointed position).With the amont AlTiO2B2O3 of reactant increasing,the number of the white particles increased significantly,and became more leptos with even and disperse distribution tending.And the black tissue in irregular forms can be seen clearly in the gray basical body with higher proportion,which are similar to the tissue around the white particles as you can see from Figure (c)and (d).Test the micro – hardness of the basical body,whitel particles and their surrounding areas shown in Figure4(a),the result indicated that the micro-hardness varied a lot.the micro-hardness of the dark gray part is comparatively low as 600~650 HV100; the black part is as high as 1360~1580 HV100; the white part is the highest up to 2700~3200 HV100; while the black area around the white particles is between 1400~1500HV100,which is semilar to which of the black tissue of the basical body.
