第一篇： Protection of the Environment
Once man did not have to think about the protection of his environment. There were few people on the earth, and natural resources seemed to be unlimited.
Today things are different. The world has become too crowded. We are using up our natural resources,and polluting our environment with dangerous chemicals. If we continue to do this, human life on earth will not survive.
We realize that if too many fish are taken from the sea, there will soon be none left. Yet,with modern fishing methods, more and more fish are caught.We know that if too many trees are cut down, forests will disappear. Yet, we continue to use powerful machines to cut down more and more trees. We see that if rivers are polluted with waste products, we will die. Yet, waste products are
still put into rivers.
We know that if the population continues to rise at the present rate, in a few years, there won’t be enough food.What can we do to solve these problems?
If we eat more vegetables and less meat, there will be more food available. Land for crops feeds five times more people than land where animals are kept.
Our natural resources will last longer if we learn to recycie them.
The world population will not rise so quickly if people use modern methods of birth control.
Finally, if we educate people to think about the problems we shall have a better and cleaner planet in the future.

第二篇：A cry for Nature Conservation （为环保而呐喊）
As is depicted in the picture entitled “cries from our descendants”, a boy is calling on his ancestors — citizens today throughout the world — to ensure a better environment and a greater abundance of natural resources for future generations. With a forced smile on the face, he is crying bitterly and desperately. Such a scene can just put us deep in thought.
The drawer of the picture intends to force us to ask ourselves some very thought provoking questions concerning nature conservation. Are we willing to be more conservative in our life requirements, and are we willing to moderate our use of the world's resources for our descendants? Can we, in fact, reduce our consumption of petroleum, coal and electricity, in order to reduce the pollution and environmental pressures created by excessive energy use and to allow others to live a better life? Are we willing to spend more money for pollution control and environmental restoration? Are we willing to devote more effort to recycling? Can we moderate our demand for fat rich diets and super processed convenience food? These are some of the central issues of the present?day world, and ones on which the quality of present and future environments may depend.
As citizens in the modern world, it is our duty to give thought to the living environment and conditions of our offspring. We must take positive actions to remedy the worsening situation, which is sadly threatening to ruin every corner of the world. Only in this way can the boy stop crying and show some respect to his ancestors.
第三篇：As you know,there's no enough clean water for people. So many of them lose their lives because of water. In a lot of
countries, people have to cut trees for living. So there's nothing to keep water from running away. Also we have polluted the land, the river and the air. So we have to face more and more floods and droughts .
It's time that we must do something useful to protect our environment. We can plant trees and take good care of them. We can save the water and ask our parents to do so. We can't throw any litter onto the ground and we should collect them for recycling.

in the world is disappeared at the speed of 20hektares per minute. It means
there are uncountable rare birds and fantastic beasts will die of the homestead. Also the friends of human beings will reduce until die out.
What a terrible thing! So it’s no time to delay for us to protect the environment！

People cut down more and more trees. They make paper, chopsticks (筷子) and furniture (家具) with them. They turn forests into farmland (农田). Without trees, there will be more deserts. And the climate is getting worse. In some places, it doesn’t rain as much as it used to (过去). In summer, there are so many cracks (裂缝) on my body. They hurt a lot!

We have only one Earth. We must take good care of it. If not, we will die some day, just like the dinosaurs (恐龙) did. I think we shouldn’t waste (浪费) anything. If we use less paper and pencils, people will cut down less trees. Our Earth will get well again.

I’m angry to see people throw rubbish here and there. I think it’s a bad habit. The rubbish makes the world dirty. It’s bad for our health. We should put it in a dustbin (垃圾桶). And we should make good use of water. For example, after washing clothes, we can use the water to clean the toilet.
