May,12th, 2:28pm could be a life-long nightmare to all the chinese. I heard and came to know from the news media that the quake zone had been reduced into a huge mess.Countless people were buried alive under the ruins. Many of my classmates burst into tears while narrating the stories. At that moment, the emotion was hard to be put under control.
All we need is love. That is what I get to understand. Wenchuan survivors need all of us to give a helping hand. The first time I knew this, I broke my pig-bank,and mailed them to the red-cross charity donation center. I knew it was too little, wishing everyone else could do the same.Only through this, can the hit area people have confidence over nightmare, can light reappear on those sad faces.
I have not been through a lot of tragedies in my life. Maybe I am not the best possible person who can feel what those feel in Wenchuan earthquake, for I have my parents’love around me.But I can deeply understand those who have lost their parents, lost their children, siblings for ever.I really want to go to Wenchuan, even it is only for half a day. I want to hold their hands and try to help. I can dance, sing, or tell jokes. I am telling them, let’s smile, the world will smile with us.The catastrophe is not that horrible. Keep heads straight up and we'll make it through.
But now I am a full-time on-campus student.I have to study every day, and I do regret not to have the magic of splitting myself into two halves! I just wish, let summer vacation come soon, then thousands of me-alike could fly to our suffering brothers and sisters.I wish whenever and whereever they mustn’t lose hopes, because they have us at back, we are together for ever!

At 14:28 on May 12, 2008, and Wenchuan in Sichuan Province in China there was a terrible earthquake. Tens of thousands of people lost their homes and even lives. Many schools were destroyed, the students do not attend school , We do »donate money to charity money and materials to people in need of help bringing water and food, welcomed the students to study in Chongqing, care and assistance to them, cherish a happy time, study 1、An earthquake is a shaking of the ground caused by the sudden breaking and shifting of large sections of Earth's rocky outer shell. Earthquakes are among the most powerful events on earth, and their results can be terrifying. A severe earthquake may release energy 10,000 times as great as that of the first atomic bomb. Rock movements during an earthquake can make rivers change their course. Earthquakes can trigger landslides that cause great damage and loss of life. Large earthquakes beneath the ocean can create a series of huge, destructive waves called tsunamis (pronounced tsoo NAH meez) that flood coasts for many miles.
Earthquakes almost never kill people directly. Instead, many deaths and injuries in earthquakes result from falling objects and the collapse of buildings, bridges, and other structures. Fire resulting from broken gas or power lines is another major danger during a quake. Spills of hazardous chemicals are also a concern during an earthquake.
2、The force of an earthquake depends on how much rock breaks and how far it shifts. Powerful earthquakes can shake firm ground violently for great distances. During minor earthquakes, the vibration may be no greater than the vibration caused by a passing truck.
On average, a powerful earthquake occurs less than once every two years. At least 40 moderate earthquakes cause damage somewhere in the world each year. About 40,000 to 50,000 small earthquakes--large enough to be felt but not damaging--occur annually
