Mount Huang,also known as Huangshan (Chinese:黄山; pinyin:Huángshān; literally "Yellow Mountain"[1]),is a mountain range[1] in southern Anhui province in eastern China.The area is well known for its scenery,sunsets,peculiarly-shaped granite peaks,Huangshan Pine trees,and views of the clouds from above.Mount Huang is a frequent subject of traditional Chinese paintings and literature,as well as modern photography.Today,it is a UNESCO World Heritage Site and one of China's major tourist destinations.
The area has also been a location for scientific research because of its diversity of flora and wildlife; in the early part of the 20th century,the geology and vegetation of Mount Huang were the subject of multiple studies by both Chinese and foreign scientists.[16] The mountain is still a subject of research; for example,in the late 20th century a team of researchers used the area for a field study of Tibetan Macaques,a local species of monkey.[21]

China, vast territory and abundant resources, is an beautiful country with a long history. China is fanous for her Great Wall, running across the northern land against the border area. In the middle of our country stand the Five Famous Mountains in China, they are the Mount Taishan in the east, the Mount Huashan in the west, the Mount Hengshan in the south and the Mount Hengshan in the north while the Mount Songshan is just between these four. Apart from these mounts, there are quite a few of other graceful famous mounts, such as Huangshang, Lushang, Emeishang, Wutaishang and so on. If you want to tour around all the mounts, it will take you several months just to appreciate their broad outlines. Otherwise, our ancestor has left us a great deal of human cultural heritage,some of them are in connection with construction, Gugong (the Imperial Palace) for example; some are with folk-customs as Water-splashing Festival of Dai and some other minority nationalities, Nadam Fair of Mongolian, Spring Festival of the whole nation; some, like the dragon and Monkey King are relation to old legends. It is too rich to mention them with a few words.
