Parents are the closest people to us. If we ever realised, they would be there for their children no matter what happens. Whenever we got into trouble, the first people we ever thought of are our parents. They nag sometimes, and we find them troublesome. We start to judge them and slowly walk away from them. We think they are a nuisance. This is seriously wrong. They gave birth to us to love us, to care for us. But what many people do to payback, is to send them to the old folks' home and let them fend for themselves. What a sick society we now have, don't you think? I used to think, how would these abandoned parents feel? They wasted so much money and effort on these mindless children. I then thought about what I should do to make my parents happy and not regret on bringing me to this world.
Firstly, I want to study really hard and dilligently, so as to top the class and do my parents proud. As we all know, parents press on us everyday to ask us do our homework to let them see our good grades. But how many of us would heed? That hurts their feelings as well.
Later, maybe help them with their household chores. Children with working parents should know. They have double roles -- work to earn money and support the family, come home to do household chores to give us a clean environment to live in. Thus, to decrease their workload, we should sometimes help clean the dishes and mop the floors and whatsoever.
