One thing I am not willing to but forced to do is to learn chinese ancient poetries every night at bedtime.My teacher of Chinese literature in high school set it as a homework and she would check them in her class now and then.These poetries are hard to recite,for they contain many words and expressions that are no longer used today.However I really have learned much from these poetries,because I understand the thinking and spirit of ancients and surprise to find it is kind of interesing and worthwhile to do so.

One thing I am not willing but forced to do is to read poems every night at bedtime. My teacher of Chinese literature in high school set that as a homework and she would check that in her class now and then. These poems are hard to recite, for they contain many words and expressions that are no longer used today. Additionally even if I managed to understand their meanings, I just cannot remember the exact word in them. However I really have learned much from these poems and somehow feel that it is worthwhile to do so.
