In a physics assignment, we were required to keep a basin of water in the open air for half an hour and then move it back in the room. We were also asked to watch the whole process carefully and get our own conclusion.
As what I saw, as it was very cold outside, the water soon froze to ice. It became hardened(硬), less transparent（不透明), and at last unremovable in the basin. When the basin was taken into the room, it began to thaw. Firstly the water came out on the edge of the bulk of ice and gradually to the middle. Finally, it got back to water again.
