个例子说明吧：
某结晶水合物的TG曲线在某温度范围出现一个阶梯（失重）,而DTA曲线对应温度范围出现较大的吸热峰,可推断它此阶段发生了脱水.
DTA曲线中涉及的物理化学变化与其焓变的关系总结如附图,再结合相应重量变化,就能得出有效的推断.
2.出现平台说明此物质在这个温度范围内对温度不敏感,稳定无变化.从头到尾是平台,那就说明此物质不含结晶水,热稳定性良好.
3.说明它失结晶水是分步进行的,如五水硫酸铜.
