Life Can Be Simple
One of my friends once said to me,"life can be simple." I don't quite understand him at that time. In my mind, life should and must be remorseless. It pratly reflects my horror toward the unknown world but to some extent it tells the truth. However,my understanding toward life completely changed since I had witnessed a warm scene in a bus.
A young bus driver pulled up in a small station and a young women got on with a lunch box on her hands. She quietly placed the box beside the young bus driver. They didn't say anything but looked at each other,smiling. I settled my view on the smaller box beside the lunch box which was fulfilled with rice. Soon,the bus started again. The bus driver looked back at that young women and I found a delicate simle perched on his face.
To tell you the truth, that is the warmest simle I have ever seen. And I suddenly understood what my friends told me, I understood that life can be simple. The simple life of the young couple enshadows our busy and complicated life. They didn't lose themselves in the tumultuous world. They didn't complain about their low income and hard work. They never feel sham for their job though it's rather not a decent one.
However,many people,around you and me,are chasing the so called "good life". I don't know exactly what the good life is but I do know that the driver's simple life must be a thousand time better than that "good life". Why? You may ask. As people always say but never practice,"Happy is he who is contented with what he has." To most of us,what we lack is not money but santosh. Just think the unbelievable poorness in the remote areas and all the sufference suffered by the poor--what reason do we have not to be satisfied with our simple life?
The warmness and happiness the young couple delivered to me enlightened my world. I finally understand that life can and should be simple.

We are supposed to express our gratitude to others on Thanksgiving Day. However, we should feel gratitude every day.
God has two dwellings, one in heaven, and the other in a meek and thankful heart. Be grateful to others is a way to show your love. In our daily life, we often receive help from our parents, friends, colleagues and strangers. Perhaps it is a little thing, pick up the pen you drop, lift a heavy box for you or offer you a seat in the bus. We should be thankful to them for whatever they have done. The more love you give, the more love you receive.
A sense of gratitude can acknowledging our interdependent existence. You will be ready to help others if you have a thankful heart. Therefore, a thankful heart is like a magnet. Not only will we attract more things to be grateful for, but also we will attract gratitude from others. “give thanks a little and you will find a lot.”
Gratitude is heaven itself. A sense of gratitude and indebtedness to others is and important wellspring of a generous and virtuous life. We now fall into a busy life, neglecting to be grateful for details, the beauty of nature, the comforts of modern living ,the love of parents and so on. People can notice these details and realize the friendship, love and happiness in our life with a grateful heart.

One of my friends once said to me,"life can be simple." I don't quite understand him at that time. In my mind, life should and must be remorseless.
