Water pollution is a serious pollution in China. People put many pollutants into the river or into the sea, which threatens our healthy and wildlife. This is because some factories throw pesticides into the rivers. Our life does not leave boiling water. If water were not very good, our body would not be very healthy. So we must prevent people from throwing the pesticides into the water.
Some people may choose to live in big cities, while others like the natural and quiet surroundings on countryside. I think on countryside, there are more beautiful sites than in the cities. There are many trees and flowers on countryside, and some animals. When I was young I used to go to my grandparents’ home. There home was on countryside. I enjoyed it very much. I could breath fresh air. But now I live in the city, where the traffic is better: buses, cars, subways, and so on are running. There are many good buildings here. We can go shopping very easily.
In China, the Spring Festival in the most important festival. People usually have a long holiday. Most of the families will have a big family get-together. The whole family will have a big meal in the evening of the Spring Festival everyone is happy. The most traditional food is dumplings. The Chinese think the dumplings will bring them good luck in the new year. On the first day of the Chinese New Year, people usually wear new clothes and visit their relatives and friends. They say “Happy New Year”to each other. People often go to the parks or go shopping.
I think in the China, most students have a lot of homework. They have many extra lessons. They can't watch TV, or play computer games. They just can read books and recite books.And they have entrance examination, which is very difficult.They are controlled by teachers and parents. The educational level is aslo very good. So the competition is very serious. In the America the students don't have much homework. They can do many things as they want to. And their competition is not so serious. And I prefer Chinese education to America education.
Noise pollution
Noise is a common problem in modern-day life and it represents a serious thread to our quality of life. There are many noises such us:" traffic noise, aircraft noise, machine noise, construction noise, railway noise, and so on. We can do some things to avoid noise pollution. For example we can build less factories, and use less cars.
