The Crested Ibis, a rare and valuable bird, is called the “Oriental Diamond”. Its body is white with part of its head and wings red. Mainly feeding on small fish and insects, this kind of lovely bird lives in the woods or by the streams in QinlingMountainsofChina.
Because of the destruction of its habitat, the Crested Ibis has almost died out several years ago. To save this endangered species, the Chinese government has taken many measures.
