simulation models for surface roughness and cutting forces
using convergence network.Davim et al.[2] have developed
mathematical models to express cutting force as functions of
surface roughness and tool life,and then optimize the turning
parameters by using GA (genetic algorithm).Additionally,
an optimum selective model [4] of machining parameters has
also been formulated using convergence network and SA
(simulated annealing).Nevertheless,these are regarded as
computing simulations,and the applicability to real world
industry is still uncertain.
