Shopping rush
As the Christmas is coming soon, a new round shopping rush is rising in America, even if the financial crisis has had a terrible influence on society. During Thanksgiving Day, many supermarkets provided special offers to attract customs. However, in fact, not only the American people like the small benefits but also all the customs in the world will rush to the supermarket if any small promotion is provided.
Why do people like paying more money only for such a small cut? I think the answers can be divided into three parts. Firstly, people, especially young housewives, admire brand products or high quality products, but they are always afraid of the high price. When they see some small benefits, they rush. Secondly, seeing so many cheap and necessary supplies, they think they will use them some day, so they buy them in storage. Lastly, at the first sight of the price, they have ignored whether it is useful or not, but feel petty satisfied with heavy the shopping basket, because they had save a lot of money.
The attractive cheap prices force people to rush to the supermarket and buy something they don’t really need. As a common custom, I have to say I myself have had suffered a basket of regret in the past. Honestly speaking, shopping rush has become part of the modern society life.

The month is over, and the world has a new champion. Spain won the World Cup in its first trip to a World Cup final, becoming the first team since France in 1998 to achieve this feat. It also became the second team to win the World Cup while it was the reigning champion of Europe.
I am not a big fan of soccer, I am more of a badminton person. However, with everyone having the world cup fever, I couldn’t help being influenced by them. Therefore, I watched a bit of soccer these days as sort of an exception, and I have changed my view to soccer. I find it to be a fast game and not a rough game like what I used to think though there were some falling and tripping. It was actually quite amazing. Nonetheless, I still don't like it that much as compared to those fans I saw on the spectator stands. They are just way too crazy, just like those fans of Korean boy bands.
Among all the teams who had participated in this year’s World Cup, I like the Germany’s team the most though it might be just a random pick. My reason for me to support is because I find them to have a great sportsmanship. I chose Germany after their first match against Australia. They did surprisingly well by scoring 4-0! I was really pleased to hear that the Germany had not disappoint me by achieving third. I know it is quite impossible to beat New Zealand and Spain, so I thought a third place can be also considered quite a remarkable achievement.
Although I am still not a fan of soccer, but I hope Germany will make another amazing game in the future.
