Christmas,is a holiday for the people of western countries.It is also a holiy day for the Christians.
Especially North Americans,the western people celebrate Christmas with everyone in their family.Even strangers on the streets.Christmas is a holiday similar to Chinese new year,at the time,everyone just sit down,have a happy meal with their family members.
Christmas is not just a religious or national holiday,it also represent the beginning of the winter break.Children can have a break from school for two weeks.And adults can rest at home for about a week.
Christmas means the stores and malls will be filled with people shopping for gifts three weeks,even a month before the actual holiday.And the stores will have a shortage of goods,for sure.It will also be a great opportunity for the businessmen to earn some money through discounts on the products.
Christmas is about gifts and love.Children are told to be nice through out the year so that Santa Claus,a person said to distribute gifts on the night before Christmas,known as the Christmas eve,will give the child a gift.
Christmas has so many stories,and celebrated so widely and for such a long time,that there is no way for me to cover them all in this speech.The only way to experience the atmosphere of a Christmas holiday,is to actually be there,and live through the cold,but warm time of the year.

圣诞节不仅仅是一个神圣的节日,也不仅仅是一个国家的节日.它也代表着寒假的开始.孩子们可以有两个月的假期,不用去上课.大人们,有的也有一个星期的休息时间.
圣诞节也意味着商场将被各种各样的人塞满,架上的货物将被买光.而这时,离圣诞节还有至少一个星期.当然了,商人们也将得到不同于寻常的销量,即使他们已经将货物打了很大的折扣.
圣诞节是关于赠与及爱.在这一年内,小孩子们将被大人们叮嘱为一个好孩子,因为只有好孩子,才会得到圣诞老人的礼物.在传说中,圣诞老人将在圣诞的前夜到各家各户去分发礼物.
圣诞节存在了如此长的时间,有如此多的故事,我不可能将所有的事情都说出来.唯一能真正感受到圣诞节的气氛的方式,是去到那些国度,去和他们一起度过这个唯一的,即冷又暖和的节日.
