形容词和副词都有3个级:原级、比较级和最高级,例:如good-better-best
A.规则的形容词、副词的后面加上er或est
B.重读闭音节的形容词和副词的比较级和最高级,双写最后一个辅音字母,然后再加er、est 如:hot-hotter-hottest
C.以Y结尾的形容词和副词变比较级时去掉Y,加上ier,最高级时去掉Y,加上iest 如:tidy-tidier-tidiest
D.以不发音的e结尾,比较级和最高级在词尾后面分别加上r、st 如:brave-braver-bravest
E.如果形容词和副词为多音节单词,比较级和最高级则在词前分别加上more、the most或less、the least 如:beautiful-more beautiful-the most beautiful或beautiful-less beautiful-the least beautiful
