Save electricity.It is crucial.We can't imagine what the life will be like without it.Everyone should do his best to save electricity.Don't forget to turn off lights or other electric machines when we finish working.
Save forests.They are useful .Please stop cutting them down and use recycled paper instead.Make our world a green one to live in.
Recycle useful rubbish.Plenty of rubbish can be recycled like cans,paper,bottles,and so on.We can save resources in this way.

Good morning, teachers and judges,ladies and gentlmen ,I am very glad to stand here and give you a speech, the topic of my speech is Protect our mother globe Protect ourselves
Do you love your mother? Yes ,you may say. That’s good. But at the same time ,do you know you have another mother-the earth. Will you love the earth as you love your morther?
Our mother globe provide us a beautiful living place. But we destory it instead of appreciating it. Our mother globe is in a great dangerous situation now. suppose your mother were sick , would you worry about her? Of course,I think. But if I tell you that our mother globe is sick now ,will you worried?
It is the fact that our mother globe is very sick now. you can see waste paper and uesd coke cans are discarded anywhere.you might have seen plastic bags flying in the sky and getting caught in the trees when the wind blows or may be you have seen old cans floating in rivers and polluting the water. Our environment is the place in which we live,but it is being ruined by us.
The air pollution is also terrible. Look,the atmosphere is filthy, the air is thick with dust and burnt oil. Dark smokes are being emmitted from chimnneys and choking fumes are being released from numerous vehicles. Stay a little while in a big city,then wipe your forehead with your handkerchief. It is black. Hang out your washing on the line to dry. You will have to wash again.
Do you realize our mother globe is becoming more and more weak? What would happen if little attention were paid to the environment?
So, it’s time for us to do something for her. It’s a duty for everyone on the earth to protect the environment. Living surrounding are so important for us that every one should pay attention.
Firstly ,for our students ,what should we do? As we know, in most parts of the world , many students help their school to reduce pollution. They join the envirnment clubs and work together to make the environment cleaner there. They ask students to bring their lunchs in bags that can be used again, they never comes to school in a car. Cars release pollution into the air. So we must remember this. They also mend the broken toilets. Do you know that some toilets may waste up to twenty to forty cubic meters of water an hour?
Secondly, the government should make laws to stop the pollution, and take measures to protect our environment. To be an Anji citizen. I feel very prized. You know Anji is famous for bamboo. We have so many bamboos that can not only protect our environment but also can make our city more beautiful. Because our government have carried on a compaign to discourage protecting environment and have instilled a sense of pride in the hearts of those who live there.
Green is in Anji.
There could be no better time than right now to begin-China is to host the 2008 Olympics. At that time ,there will be thousands of foreign visitors coming to view the athletic events as well as to see China’s beautiful and historic sites. Take pride in China. Let China stand tall among the nations in the world!
The world is ours ,it is our only world and it is the job of everyone to make an effort to save it. Please love our mother and love our mother globe-the earth.
