Emission
of carbon-dioxide and other greenhouse gases has become the most
serious problem facing the globe.Too much carbon-dioxide produced every
day has led to climate change and has caused human beings terrible
effects.In brief,to reduce carbon-dioxide emission and live a
low-carbon life is the responsibility that each of us has to take.
In
my opinion,we should firstly save energy.Turn off the electric
appliances in our house whenever they are not needed.Don’t leave them
in standby mode.
Secondly,use less heat and air-conditioning.Set the temperature of your air-conditioners at 26 degrees in summer.Use less hot water by installing low-flow shower heads.Use
cold water when washing clothes or the dishes whenever possible.Take a
short shower and try to take a cold one when it gets warmer.
Thirdly,do the cooking with gas instead of electricity.Cook as much food as possible in a pressure cooker.
Finally,
ride a bike as often as you can.I also suggest the government building
more roads for cyclists.Diesel-emitting buses should be replaced by
low-carbon ones such as the electric vehicles.
If we can do the things above and get used to doing it every day,our earth will become a safer planet for us to live on.

Nowadays, the environmental problem is becoming worse and worse. It’s a global problem for us now. As the leading life in the world, we should do something to protect the earth now.
In some news about the environment, we can see, the icebergs melted and tsunamis happened because of global-warming. The disasters will happen endlessly if we still can’t realize the importance of saving resources and start protecting the environment. As the saying goes, energy is our life. So we should use different means to save energy and improve our home.
In fact, we have to face directly the reality, humen really have made the earth get injured, but it’s not only a slogan, to make low-carbon life come true, we should take action in our daily life at first. We don’t need to chase fashion, we can arrive somewhere without car, we can ride a bicycle to some places where are not far away from your home. We can buy second-hand books and reuse water. For example, if you use water to wash your face, then you can use it to clean the furniture or sweep the floor. If you read second-hand books, you will get as much knowledge and spend less money on them, so we don’t need to cut down trees to make paper.
If you go shopping, you'd better take a hop-pocket to hold your article without plastic bags. Objectively, we can use hop-pockets instead of plastic bags, and it’s a useful way to reduce white pollution.
At last, I want to say, low-carbon life is really a kind of good lifestyle to try, let’s change our lifestyle to make our home better. It’s not only someone’s duty, but it’s also everyone’s duty, let’s rebuild a beautiful and ideal world.
