She picked up the jar of pickles and tried to open it.The lid was seal-tight.No matter how she rubbed the jar,no genie popped out to the rescue.Daisy,the family dog,would laugh at the scenario exhibiting such low intelligence,if only she could laugh.
“Oh,wow,this lid is really on there,” She strained herself from working too hard on herself.
Due to the slipperiness and safety hazards,she walked Daisy out of the kitchen.“C’mon,girl,we need Daddy to open this jar for us.”
Dagwood was busy sitting on the couch,with his hands in his pockets.
“Honey,will you please open this jar of pickles for me?” Blondie asked Dagwood for help.
“Sure,no problem”
Dagwood laid his filthy hands on the lid.He gave his very best,even though he was spent after his vinegar strokes.Dagwood tried all his favourite jar-opening postures but the lid just would not move a bit.
“So,tell me again.What do you need the pickles for?” Dagwood decided to give his hands a rest.Blondie glanced at his untidy attire and grinned with a kinky thought.
That evening,the Bumsteads gathered at the dinner table for burgers.Alexander,the older child of Bumsteads,took a bite of a weird burger that smells like sweat.It was distasteful.
“How come we don’t have pickles?We always have pickles on our burgers!” Alexander’s curiosity barged in.
Dagwood shrugged it off,“eh,pickles are so overrated.”
