"Life of Pi" takes a while to start up,but when it does,it becomes the most beautifully looking film in years.The visuals are being compared to "Avatar," and even though they are not as grand,the substance in this film is substantially larger.As a family from India sets out for new life in Canada,their ship (in a freak accident) wrecks in a storm.From then on,Pi is left on a lifeboat alone with a tiger (Richard Parker).The film then becomes a story of how faith in God must be a real thing.There was much more religious aspects in this film than I was expecting,and I loved it!The visuals are stunning,the dialogue/screenplay is impeccably written to perfection,the cinematography is Oscar worthy,along with the direction,but the thing about this film that stood out to me the most,was the casting choice of the lead (Suraj Sharma)."Life of Pi" is not just a great film,but it is an experience!It may be a tad slow at times,but I still loved it.It's one of the best of 2012!less
