Vince,a 54-year-old bank clerk,lived in an old apartment in the city of toronto.He liked living there.It was usually very quiet,and he could see the park from his window.There was only one problem:the young man upstairs,who was called Hector.
Hector worked in a coffee bar as a waiter.Every night,he came back home late.He always took off his shoes and threw them on the floor as soon as he arrived home.Then he began to have a dancing lesson following the video,which usually lasted forty minutes.
After that,he took the shower and he never stopped singing loudly in the bathroom.Although no one could stand his music.Hector really enjoyed it.
During that time,poor vince was trying to sleep.But every night he heard the noise upstairs and found it very difficult to sleep.He was rather angry with the young man upstairs.
One day,Vince decided to talk to hector.He went upstairs and knocked at the door.The young man opened it.With a smile,Vince said,“I'm sorry to trouble you.”Hector,“What is it?”asked the young man,Vince said,“well...”

这似乎我上初中时的课文，大概回忆了下，按着课文的结尾吧：
“well,young man,i kown everyone has his own life style,but what if your style is spoiling mine? every late night,your noise,almost make me mad~~i'm sorry to say so,i really can't sleep.would you slightly and gentlely when you take your shoes and throw them on the floor?and slow down your voice when you sing,please?”
the second day,when hector came back home, he took off one of his shoes and throw it on the floor heavily, suddenly he realize his neibour downstairs, so he took off anthor shoe slightly,and sang his song gentely...
at the same time, vince was waiting for anoher shoe and the amazing song from upstairs, and didn't have sleep a whole night~~`
