I have studied Thai language for some time.Now I can remember I was exciting when I first time to study the Thai language,everything is fresh and funny.But now I feel the Thai language is very difficult to study.
The most difficult is the pronunciation,for example,consonant [th],it has six alphabets to pronounce,and they distribute in the high consonant [th] and the low consonant [th].Otherwise,in the course of study we found other problems of pronunciation,we practiced pronouncing the sound again and again,we thought we have not any problems,and the pronunciation same as the teacher’s,but the Thai teacher said that we made mistake in pronunciation.
The rule of thai pronunciation is more difficult and complicated than English and Chinese.It has a lot of special case,it is required that we should open new area in our brain to specially remember these rules.
In addition,Thailand is hierarchical country.Different classes use different words,Thai society has four scenarios when the language is used:royal court,religion,community,and traditions.Above all,royal court and religion,we should use carefully.No better illustration of this usage than the example mentioned below,the word “ YOU “ has more than eight words in Thai,different classes use the different “YOU”.
As to me,pronunciation and the language usage in the cultural tradition and background are difficult about learning Thai language.

Learning language, I think it is very difficult. Because, Thailand's language has its unique features, and Thai some special local custom language.
