C. Thematic statement: The world needs to prevent global warming.
(Transition: I will tell you how important we need to prevent global warming.)
II. Need
A. The United Nations Panel on Climate Change in February this year, in its published "Global Climate Change Assessment Report," pointed out: In the past 50 years, is likely to be human activities have led to global warming.
B. Experts predict that, from now to 2100, global average temperature may rise rate was 1.8 ~ 4 ℃, sea-level rise range is 18 ~ 59 cm.
C. Global Warming will bring five major harms to human beings:
Drought
Tropical Storms and Hurricanes
Sea-level Rise
Frequent Heat Waves
Rampant Infectious Diseases
(Internal summary: All of this shows that global warming is a big problem.)

III. Satisfaction
A. We are living in the same world. All of us should do something to save this problem.

大家都知道,由于人类向自然界过度的索取,已经导致了大自然无情的报复:飓风、暴雨、暴风雪、洪涝、干旱、虫害、酷暑、森林大火、地震等灾情不期而至,全世界因干旱等原因而造成的迁移性难民预计到2025年达到1亿人。
惨痛的生态教训,已经引起世界各国和全人类的重视,国际奥委会评估团视察申奥城市,就把生态环境改善列为其中重要的内容。我国高度重视环保工作台,先后出台了许多保护环境的政策和法规,开展了许多保护环境的工作和活动。
我国同时也非常重视保护环境的教育,“绿色学校创建活动”就是其中重要的内容之一,我校的环境保护和绿化工作已取得丰硕的成果。
我们经常看到许多同学在校园里的各个角落捡拾果皮纸屑;用自己的双手去保护校园环境的优美。但是,我们仍然存在着一些不足:仍然有人乱丢纸屑、食品袋废弃物;仍然有人在草坪上肆意践踏;学校的绿化带中,不时发现有深深的脚印、有的地方甚至走成了小道。
同学们,我们是21世纪的主人,环保意识是现代人的重要标志。我们应当切实地树立起时代责任感。心系全球,着眼身边,立足校园。多弯弯腰捡捡果皮纸屑,首先是不要随地乱扔乱丢;多走几步,不要穿越绿化带,践踏绿地。“勿以善小而不为,勿以恶小而为之”,从我做起,从小做起,从身边做起,从现在做起。保护地球母亲,净化绿色校园。 让我们的校园更加美丽吧!

Specific Purpose Statement:To inform the audience about global warming Centrual Idea: To inform to my audience that the earth is enduring a hot period. If we do not take an efficiency action to prevent global warming, we may not have a good chance to live until the day after tomorrow.
Introduction:
“Hello everyone, today I will give you a heavy-topic speech, please look at the pictures on the Powerpoint, do you know what topic do I want to tell you? Yes, it’s global warming. I have selected this topic because we are living in a world which is becoming more and more unfavourable for us to live, just because we are destroying our homes. But most of us do not have an idea of what we should do to prevent global warming. So today I will tell you what global warming is,and then why we should do that, and finally I will give you some suggestions to prevent global warming.”

The unmoderated excessive cutting trees.
The rapid growth of population, and that’s the key of Global Warming.
Ⅱ The effects of global warming?
Glaciers will be melting, and the sea level rise, so some islands in lowland will be submerged.
30%--70% species will be extincted.
It will endanger our health.
Some extreme climates will be caused frequently, such as drought, coldwave.
Ⅲ What should we do to avoid global warming?
Plant tree or flower in your school they absorb carbon dioxide.B. Motor vehicles use a lot of energy — so walk or ride a bike if you can.

There is a long way for our human beings to prevent global warming, but our actions are putting into practice. According to the Climate Congress in Copenhagen, which was just held several weeks ago, many meaningful agreement were achieved. Neither the rich country nor the poor country are working together to prevent it.
Conclusion
In conclusion, to stop global warming we should make immediate and continual efforts. We hope the situation will soon change. Global warming catches and holds our concern, for it affects us and will affect our later generations. We cannot wait any longer. Do it. Do it right. Do it right now.
