that,which 引导定语从句,从句前一定要有先行词即可修饰的对像(名词,代词等).

3. 选whoever引导宾语从句。这个句子里的they thought是一个插入语，做题时可以不管的。可以看出从句缺主语，那么选的就是whoever既引导从句又在从句中当主语了。而且，没有whomever这么个东西的。
