透镜通常是由透明物质（如玻璃、水晶等）制成的光学元件.常见的透镜有凸透镜和凹透镜两种.凸透镜具有会聚光线的作用,所以也叫“会聚透镜”或“正透镜”.
Lenses are such optical components that are usually made of transparent materials (e.g.glasses,crystals).The common lenses are divided into the convex lenses and concave lenses.The convex lenses are also referred to as the “converging lenses” or”positive lenses” since they can converge light.
在我国西汉时期成书的《淮南万毕术》中,有世界上最早的“冰透镜”记载.其后,晋朝张华的《博物志》中也有类似记载.
The world’s earliest “ice lenses” were recorded in the “Huainan Encyclopedia” compiled in China’s Western Han Dynasty.Similar records were later found in the “Historia Naturalis” written by Zhang Hua in the Jin Dynasty.
