The pie chart demonstrates the percentage of different countries' consumer outlay on various items in 2002.
As can be found from the graph,the citizens from these five countries spent on the food,drinks and tobacco most,particularly Turkey and Ireland,which accounted for 32.14% and 28.91% respectively.By contrast,the spending on leisure or education took up the least percentage in general,for instance,the Spanish just cost 1.98% of their income on it,besides,the Ireland people spent 2.21% on average,to name but two.What is more,the expenditure of clothing and footwear is relatively more than the leisure and education,for example,it is extremely starling that the percentage of Italian spent in clothes and shoes ranked the first,which occupied some 9%,Turkey is the next,which took up 6.63%,while the consumers from Sweden just stood at 5.40%.
By and large ,the consumers from these five countries were willing to spend much more money on food,drinks and tobacco,which were considered as a vital part of their subsistence.

As can be found from the graph,the citizens from these five countries spent most of their money on food,drinks and tobacco,particularly Turkey and Ireland,where these commodities cost the people 32.14% and 28.91% of their income respectively.By contrast,however,spending on leisure or education represents the lowest percentage in general.For instance,the Spanish only spent 1.98% and the Irish people 2.21%,of their income averagely on these two areas.What is more,people seemed to have spent more on apparel and footwear products than on leisure and education – one interesting example shows that the proportion of income spent by the Italians on clothes and shoes rose to the top (9%),which was followed by Turkey (6.63%) and Sweden (5.40%).
By and large,the consumers from these five countries were inclined to spend much more money on food,drinks and tobacco,as they believe these things are essential for their living.
