Life's Brief Candle
To-morrow,and to-morrow,and to-morrow,
Greeps in this petty pace from day to day
To the last syllable of recorded time,
And all our yesterdays have lighted fools
The way to dusty death.Out,out,brief candle!
Life's but a walking shadow,a poor player,
That struts and frets his hour upon the stage,
And then is heard no more; it is a tale
Told by an idiot,full of sound and fury,
Signifying nothing.
人生的短烛熄了,熄了!
人生不过是行走的影子,可怜的剧人
在舞台上的时候,做尽哀荣颦笑,
而过后也就音容渺渺；人生如戏,
总被痴人说道,闹嚷嚷离合悲欢,
而意义却没有丝毫.
