1.General Introduction.
Medium-sized high-voltage three-phase asynchronous motors are the basic series in accordance with the IEC standards.Motors are characterized by high efficiency,power saving,low noise,low vibration,light weight,reliable operation,convenient installation and maintenance,etc.They can be applied to drive various general machinery,such as ventilator,pump,compression engine,conveyer,crusher,ball grinder and etc.
The rated voltage for medium-sized high-voltage three phase asynchronous motors include 3kV,6kV and 10kV(or No.11-15).The basic protective degree is IP21,IP23,IP44 and IP54 etc.Other protective types can be derived in accordance with the different circumstances requirements.
The manual introduces the storage and transportation,installation and testing,maintenance,common faults,causes and measures for the medium-sized high-voltage motors.For other derivative motors and remodeled high-voltage motors,this manual can also be referred to.
2.Storage and Transportation.
2.1 In order to avoid damp and insulation damaging,motors should be installed indoor where it is clean,ventilated,dry and non-corrosive aired.The non-immediately-used shaft ends and ring collectors should be masked with rust-inhibiting oil or taken other rust-resisting measures.
2.2 When slinging motors,lifting rope should be put on the hang ring of the frame,putting on the hang ring of the cooler or other positions is not allowed.
2.3 When transportation,motors should not be disassembled or stacked.
