Invitation
1） You Must Reply to an Invitation Foreign custom is much more strict than Chinese custom in the matter of replying to invitations． When you receive an invitation, you should answer it immediately, saying definitely（明确地） whetheryou are able to accept it or not．2） Written or Verbal Reply

After the meal is over,it is not polite to leave for at least half an hour, lest（以免） you seem to have come only for the meal． An evening dinner invitation usually implies（暗示）that you stay for the whole evening． The hostess often plans some afterdinner entertainments（娱乐活动）．
5） What to Say on Leaving
When leaving any kind of a party, a guest always expresses his appreciation（感谢） to the hostess．Some such words as these are proper“Thank you so much．I've had a delight evening．”

He will not push through a crowd, but wait quietly for his turn to advance. Good manners are not the exceptionally great deeds but they can tell that the person who possesses them is a man of highest standards.
To learn good manners, one must first of all bear in mind that they arise from one’s daily behaviour—the way he responds to others and the manner he behaves in front of people. To be a man of good manners, he must be genuinely polite to others and show respect for others. In short, politeness costs nothing and gains everything.
