很简单，what 最终修饰名词，how修饰形容词或副词。举例：What a sunny day！＝How sunny a day！ what后接的是名词，而how后接的是形容词。 ..

这里不能吧。换了意思就变了，原话是：如果一个医生...（的情况下）他/她应该去发展什么技能？换了就说不通了。难道在IF引导的情况下，发展技能就不应该了吗？
不过有些时候在把英语翻译为中文的时候倒是可以。

读起来，感觉这句好怎么那么别扭啊。his/her skills，这一块不应该有啊，因为前面已经有了what代替了。
