Environmental problems are becoming more and more serious all over the world. For example, cars have made the air unhealthy for people to breathe and poisonous gas is given off by factories. Trees on the hills have been cut down and waste water is being poured continuously into rivers.Furthermore, wherever we go today, we can find rubbish carelessly disposed. The whole ecological balance of the earth is changing. Massive destruction of environment has brought about negative effects and even poses a great threat to man's existence.Pollution is, in fact, threatening our existence.So,I totally agree that save the environment only for man.
The earth is our home and we have the duty to take care of it for ourselves and for our later generations. Fortunately, more and more people have realized these problems. Measures have been taken to cope with these problems. Planting trees helps improve and beautify the environment. Laws have been passed to stop pollution. I hope the problem will be solved in the near future and our home will become better and better.We must face the situation that exists and take actions to solve our environmental problems.All these we do is to make our life better.In another word, protect the environment – because it is man’s environment. We hope that all these measures will be effective and bring back a healthful environment.
However, the problem of environmental protection remains far from being solved. On the one hand, the environment pollution and destruction are getting worse and worse in the modern world. On the other hand, the lack of knowledge about the importance of protecting environment hinders the solving of the problem. In a word, there is a long way to go before we enjoy a clean and comfortable world.

环保重要性
The wind each day just like a fickle sculptor reshapes Sahara dunes. The deserts of the world are becoming bigger. But it was not always a desert. Millions of years ago, it was spread with thick forests and broad rivers home to crocodiles, turtles, fish, and dinosaurs. Besides, hedgerows knit together disparate fields into a picturesque quilt of undulating fields.
The Sahara Desert is expanding southwards at an average of 1/2 miles a month! Because exhaust too much carbon dioxide, sulphur dioxide. People meet a big problem, that’s the greenhouse effect. Also, deforestation is another reason which causes landslide, mud flow, or even desertification.
These set of trouble effect the general ecological environment. It means these effect human on the earth. We only have one Earth and her face seems so sad. So it is highly important to preserve the environment. As a student, just protect the environment in some ways we can power. Save natural resources, plant more trees, save on water, reduce pollution or something. These all would be great.
Nowadays, governments limit people to use plastic bags. That’s a good way to reduce white pollution. More and more people realize ‘Love our environment means loving ourselves’. They use ‘Environmental protection shopping bags’ instead of plastic bags widely. Youths use their imagination to design more fashionable shopping bags. They take part in environmental protection actively. We all ought to do something more for the environment.
Let’s give our Earth a green respirator. Make a better place for you and for me!

The human can’t exist and develop without the natural environment. We will as affected from the natural environment deterioration. So we must protect the environment.
But the environmental pollution is very hard today. It’ s harmful to human’s health. In our city, the rubbish careful and skilful handling of a problem is very important. The environmentalist collection the garbage and put then into a garbage truck. At last , they find a right place and bury them.
Some of the rubbish is useful and some is baneful. So we must classify the rubbish.
Many people are concerned about the pollution of the environment . Measures to protect the environment is in many ways. For example, we can strengthen discipline the waste water from the factory. And we must put the rubbish into the dustbin.
Why it has environment pollution? We must allow for human error. We know that it’s good to breathe in fresh country air instead of city smoke . So we can do our possible to brain storm to make our city more cleaner. Protecting the environment is not a difficult thing for us . The world won’t be bit for us to live in if we go on polluting it. So form now on, we must do our best to protect the environment, because the earth is our beautiful home .

Dear teachers and dear friends:
Good morning. Today, my topic is­­­­­-------- protecting the environment is protecting ourselves.
Once man did not have to think about the protection of his environment. There were few people on the earth, and natural resources seemed to be unlimited. Today things are different. The world has become too crowded. We are using up our natural resources, and polluting our environment with dangerous chemicals.
Though we realize that if too many fish are taken from the sea, there will soon be none left. Yet, with modern fishing methods, more and more fish are caught. Though we know that if too many trees are cut down, forests will disappear. Yet, we continue to use powerful machines to cut down more and more trees. Though we see that if rivers are polluted with waste products, we will die. Yet, waste products are still put into rivers. We also know that if the population continues to rise at the present rate, in a few years, there won’t be enough food.What can we do to solve these problems? If we continue to do this, human life on earth will not survive. So protecting the environment is protecting ourselves.
Well, let’s imagine if we don’t protect the environment, What will happen in a few years? There will be no clean water in the lake but nasty mud; the sky will not be blue but gray; the air will not be fresh but dirty; our friend, animal, will have no home to live. We, human, will have to look for a place to live, but we can’t find anywhere! How do you think of it? Do you want to see this picture in the future?
As my idea, I hate it. I think it is very terrible. So we should do something to protect our environment. For example, if we eat more vegetables and less meat, there will be more food available; If we don’t waste the water and don’t use the plastics bag; but learn to recycle them, our natural resources will last longer; If we plant more and more trees, the sand will become forests again; if people use modern methods of birth control, the world population will not rise so quickly; if we educate people to think about the problems, we shall have a better and cleaner planet in the future.
Of course, teamwork is the most important, I think. Because protecting the environment is not something that can be done by one or two people. It need all of us to get in, to make the earth a better place. Maybe you are thinking: I am a child, I can’t do any things for it. But I want to say: Kids like you and me are very important, we can do a lot of things.
Any way, I believe if every one can make a contribution to protecting our environment, our home, the earth, will become more and more beautiful!
