It all depends.
For the first question, I think you should think about the distance you keep while talking. In some foreign countries, people think its polite to keep half -a-meter long distance. However, in some other countries people likes to pat each other's shoulder and use some body language. Also, you may avoid some sensitive questions. You better not ask about age, job or income, sometimes people may just get annoyed. You may give a though about liking directly in people's eyes, too. Sometimes if you look a foreigner directly in the eye for too long, they may feel offended or can't help feeling nervous.
For the second question, I think you may search the manners at table in the place the foreigner comes from. Please be careful with table manners and do not pick the dish the foreigner sertainly will not eat or might get annoyed. Also, don't talk too much while chewing, don't open your moush too wide. If you can, try not to make too much noise with the knife and fork. Try to introduce the dishes to the foreigner and be a gentleman.

2、a/当别人说“i'm full”时，就不要再推让了。外国人吃饭时，说吃饱了就是吃饱了。不像中国人那么谦虚，说吃饱了，退让一下还能吃一碗。。。。。
2/去别人家做客时一定要带东西，不要空手，但也不是什么大礼，与吃饭相关的就可以。比如，lily请你去他家吃晚餐，你可以提出带一瓶红酒，这样他就不用准备了。
c/请别人时或拜访别人时一定要预约，不能仓促。一般请别人时可提前一星期与对方约定，make an apointment，给对方重组的时间准备。同理，拜访别人时也要预约，不能让人家没有准备。
