The competitor faced is different,The competitors facing in Poland are mainly from Europe.The competition in Europe focuses more on quality and delivery speed.While,the competition in Asia more on the cost.
The applicable scope is bigger.The supply chain management in Poland is only applied to the single country.But in Asia,the applicable scope is much bigger and more complex.
The suppliers used are not the same.XXX started in Europe and has been operated for 70 years.it has built us a long term relationship with its European suppliers.But Ikea entered the Asian market only in late 1990s,and the relationship with its suppliers is not that close.So it needs to take more strategies when it manages the relations with its supplers.
Different product life cycle,the furniture sold by xxx in its European market may at the last stage of it life cycle.There is necessity to make significant update to the product.What it needs to do is only to keep the market share.However,It may only at its growth phase of the product in the Asian market.So xxx needs to invest a great deal of both capital and product in the market,so as to take higher market share.
