1 How it came to pass that Master Cherry the carpenter found a piece of wood that laughed and cried like a child.

Uru is a fictional lioness character that was introduced in the children's book set The Lion King: Six New Adventures, a collection of spin-off stories from Disney's popular 1994 animated film The Lion King. Uru was King Ahadi's Queen and the mother of Mufasa and Scar. Her parents are never mentioned.
