With the rapid development of economy and the continuous improvement of people’s living standards, food industries have acquired unprecedented development, with various new food products emerging one after another. Food industries have played a pillar role in most industries of our country. Of the three elements of food, i.e. safety, appetite and nutrition, safety is the primary standard by which consumers choose food. In our country, the food safety issue is given special attention. The emerging food safety incidents such as sudan red, poisonous rice, poisonous oil, malachite, clenbuterol and melamine, are extremely serious ones facing our country. The increasingly worsening environmental pollution and frequently happening food safety incidents have posed a huge threat to people’s health and life, therefore, food safety problems have become a hot topic which people show great concern about.
