逻辑上来说,第一空,earliest与initial对应,第二空前面的so modified,说明不再保持原状,加上no longer,后面接以前的状态,当然是discernible.
语音上来讲,这里no longer有一点惋惜的意思,而且题中表达的思想我们平时生活中也很常见,读完题应该就明白意思了.
不过这只是少数,推荐楼主尽量还是靠逻辑来搞GRE.
要是实在不知道题目在说什么,我自己的经验,不知道选什么的时候就去选项里找可以与原题对应的词.
