In a competitive 21th Century, education is the most effective way to change a person's life. However, I do believe this is only partially true. Education is in fact the most important way for student to increase their social status. For example: a good reputable University is already like a insurance for many students that ensures them to find a good job in the future, which means a higher living standard and good life. The final University marks will determine the level of job and salary they will receive. Thus, education is extremely important for a person in his or her life as a student.
The High school education helps the students to establish a firm foundation of essential knowledge that are needed for University courses, they are the tools that university students need to use to solve problems. University is the actual place that teaches the student the theoretical knowledge that they need to know for their future career. This depends on the major that a student choose to do. For example, I have chosen Accounting as my major for my Business degree, what I am learning now are the skills that will help me to find a job as a accountant when I graduate.
Education will increase people's moral standard and ethics. This is good for a society as an advanced country need intelligent people to help build it and people need to be responsible when performing this glorious job.
