飞鸟集新月集都不推荐，因为里面有更多抽象的东西，而且如果不是为了表演，不建议背诵诗……
如果是想简简单单的背一些东西学英语的话，推荐伊嗦童话，虽是童话，但里面有更多词组和语法……

经典英语哲理美文欣赏之爱与时间Love and Time

Once upon a time, there was an island where all the feelings lived: Happiness, Sadness, Knowledge and all of the others, including Love. One day, it was announced to the feelings that the island would sink, so all constructed boats and left, except for Love.

很久以前，一个小岛上住着快乐、悲伤等各种情感，还有智慧以及其它，当然还有爱情。某天，这座小岛突然被宣布即将沉没，所有的情感都造好了自己的船离开，除了爱情。

Love was the only one who stayed. Love wanted to hold out until the last possible moment.When the island had almost sunk, Love decided to ask for help.

爱情是唯一一个留下来的人，他希望能够坚持到最后一刻！当小岛即将没顶之际，爱情决定寻求帮助。

Richness was passing by Love in a grand boat. Lovesaid, "Richness, can you take me with you?" Richness answered, "No, I can't. There is a lot of gold and silver in my boat. There is no place here for you."Love decided to ask Vanity who was also passing by in a beautiful vessel. "Vanity, please help me!" "I can't help you, Love. You are all wet and might damage my boat," Vanity answered.

爱情意识到自己欠了老人很多，于是问身边的另一个智者智慧，“帮我的那个人是谁？”智慧老人答道，“是时间。”“时间？可是他为什么要帮助我？”爱情不解。智慧微笑着，充满睿智地答道：“因为爱情的价值只有时间才能理解！”
