But the clouds don't drop all of their water.They keep some of it because the air is so warm.In warm air,clouds can hold more water.
The clouds blow along until they reach the Andes Mountains.Then the clouds start to rise to get over the mountains.As the clouds go up,they meet cold air .This cold air makes them drop their water as rain.On the eastern side of the Andes,there is very heavy rain.The forests on the eastern side are called rain forests.
But there are no forests on the western side of the mountains.The land there is very dry.That is because the clouds dropped all of the water on eastern side of the mountains.
