Abstract: aerobics is a new event in modern sports, is a vigorous exercise, from the early stage of development hasbeen favored by the vast number of fitness enthusiasts,has huge development potential in the square dancemovement. The characteristics of aerobics, value, status and role in the square dance motion are discussed in this paper, in order to promote the popularity of the sport.
