Nowadays,due to high study and social pressures,many kinds of addictions exist on teenagers.I don’t want to talk about the drug problem because I have never seen anyone drugging in front of me,but I experienced some of other addictions.For instance,I was addicted to fantasy novels and science fictions when I was in high school.Our study work was very hard,and there is almost no entertainment then; so when I first read a fantasy novel which was saved in an electronic dictionary I felt that I was in a magical world,and was having exciting adventures.Since then,I read novels on class,on the bed of dorm,or at everywhere.I even spent my study time to feed my addiction,and I also didn’t get enough sleep.Several days later,because my grades fell down,my teacher counseled with me for solving my problem.Fortunately,I overcome my addiction to novel 3 months ago through the help of an excellent psychiatrist.However,I had already wasted so much time as to fail an important test.There is another example of teenagers’ addiction; that is network game addiction.Zhang,used to be an excellent student,left school for playing the World of Warcraft.We were used to chat through MSN,he told me that his stress was too heavy to endure; he also told me that he like the unreal world much more than the real one.I know many teenagers have online game addiction,this has been become a serious social problem.
