“I have to get out of here“Little Fish was tired of the
pond.
“我不得不离开这里”小鱼已经厌倦了呆在池塘里的生活.
Big Cat heard him and said,“Can I help you?You might
enjoy the nice water in the stream over there.You can see the
sea just over the hill.
小鱼的话被大猫听见了,大猫说：在不远出来的小山上,有一条小溪,你可以看得见,你会觉得呆在那里非常爽.”
“Sea!Old Fish told me a story of the sea“Little Fish
said.“Canyou take me there?”
“大海!鱼爷爷给我讲过海的故事”小鱼说,“你能带我去那里吗?”
“Yes,”said Big Cat.
“是的,我能”大猫说
Big Cat put a big bag into the water.Little Fish swam into
the bag.
大猫将一个大口袋装入水,小鱼游进了口袋.
Big Cat ran over the hill and into a house.Little Fish
looked around and asked“Is the sea in here?”
大猫提着口袋穿越小山,跑进一间房子里面.小鱼环视四周,问道“大海在这里吗?”
“Your trip is over,“Big Cat said.
“旅行结束了!”大猫说.
“Is...is...this your pond?”Little Fish asked.
“这里……这里……是你的池塘?”小鱼问.
“No.It is my kitchen,”Big Cat said.“And I will cook
you,
“不,这是我的厨房,”大猫说.“我将会把你煮了”
“Are you...a...cat?”Little Fish asked.
“你是……一只……猫?”小鱼问.
“Yes,I am Big Cat.And I will eat you.
“是的,我是一只大猫,而且我将拿你填肚子.”
“Big Cat,stop please“Little Fish cried.“Just look at
me.I am all bone.I am not good to eat.But I know a big
fIsh...so big that he would take up this house.
“大猫啊,请你别吃我”小鱼哭道“看看我吧,全身都是骨头,没有嚼头,但是我知道有一条大鱼……非常大,这间房子都装不下”
Big Cat looked at Little Fish.“Where is this bigfish?”he asked.
“If you take me back.I will get him for you,“Little Fish
said.
大猫看着小鱼“大鱼在哪儿?”大猫问?
“如果你能让我回池塘,我就帮你抓住它,”小鱼说.
“How can you get him for me’?”Big Cat asked.
“你怎样才能帮我抓住它?”大猫问.
“Do you have some ketchup?”Little Fish asked.“He likes
ketchup.Take me back.Bring a string and some ketchup,and I
will do it all for you.
“你有调味番茄酱吗?”小鱼问“它喜欢那玩意儿.送我回去,带一根绳子和一些番茄酱,我就会帮你抓到它.”
Big Cat took the bag with Little Fish and a bag with the
ketchup and ran back to the pond.
大猫带着装有小鱼的袋子和装有番茄酱的袋子跑回了池塘.
Little Fish swam out of the bag.
小鱼游出口袋.
He took the string and swam down with it.“Big Cat“Little
Fish called.“Take it up!“Big Cat pulled on the string.He
pulled and pulled,and pulled a broken bike out of the water.
Big Cat was so angry.He hopped up and down.
小鱼带着绳子向下游.“大猫”小鱼叫道“拉它上来!”大猫猛拉绳子,他拉呀拉呀,拉上来一辆破自行车.大猫气得直跳.
Little Fish swam around the pond with a smile.It was
just a Fish Story,“he cried out.“Just a Fish Story...for a Big Cat.
