在正式文体中,then作连词时,后面的部分也需用部分倒装
这句后面如果不部分倒装则变成：than most other forms of sportation do
而半倒装就是把助动词do提前
另外,as引导的方式状语从句中也有类似用法
e.g.She travelled a great deal,as did most of her friends.
=She travelled a great deal,ass mot of her friends did.
He was a Christian,as were most of his friends.

而表示时间或地点的介词短语前置可以引起全部倒装
